This is a special moment – the first time I am sharing a part of my precious journal on the scary internet. This is probably also a good moment to explain how I use my journal, because I do not use it as a classic bullet journal. The idea of the bullet journal is to use it as a calendar for appointments and to do’s, in a way where you can customise it to your own liking. However, my bullet journal is not for appointments or to do’s; it is a personal journal where I write about my life and my feelings. I draw, I paint and I write about whatever is on my mind. It’s by no means a classic bullet journal – although I doubt there is any standard, as it’s meant to be highly customisable.
Enough babbling about the function of my bullet journal; time to show the setup for October 2019!

Just like a classic bullet journal, I start the month with an overview of the days. I use this page for the most memorable moments of the month, so I can look back at this page and see all of them at once. For example, I would write down that I hung out with my friends or visited a cool place. I like this way of documenting what has happened in the month, as I often feel like I didn’t do anything special during a month, but when I look back at this spread I am always surprised with the amount of nice things I did. This is always a positive page, to be able to look back and smile.

The next two pages are reserved for a habit tracker, a mood tracker and to write down some goals I have for the month. For October I have the following goals:
- Find a job. Please, I really want to find a nice job.
- Finish reading 1Q84, part 2. The second book in the series by Haruki Murakami.
- Make the koala. A stuffed animal that I started to design and create.
- Write five times on the blog. I like that I started blogging again and I want to keep it up.
- Yoga/stretch at least twice a week. I feel that my body needs it.
After these two pages, I do not have any weekly setups. I write whenever I want, marking the date and writing down whatever I feel like writing down. Sometimes I use a page to make a drawing, a painting or a collage of things I collected throughout the month.
Who knows, I might share some together with the setup of November.

Journaling is my thing and I write in two separate journals. Do you have more than one journal?
